In this course, I share and demonstrate what structures can be created with a stick and some canvas. Simple stretching to elaborate canvases within canvases and washboard shapes alter the viewer’s perception as they pass by.

Lesson Two
Insert One Canvas Into Another
FREE
How to insert one canvas into another canvas. Identify, acquire & prepare tools and materials to create 2 stretched canvases and 1 spacer bar. Insert spacer bar inyo hole larger canvas and attatch. Insert a smaller canvas, into spacer bars, attach, ready for painting.
Lesson Three
Understand Spatialist Nouveau
Identify, acquire & prepare tools and materials to create, in one hour, a stretched canvas, ready for painting. To prepare the student to think beyond flat canvases.
Lesson Four
Create Stretcher Bars From your Drawings.
How to fabricate and measure your unique stretcher bars from the drawings you have created. Measure the as built surfaces, all angles and curves to accurately transfer measurements to a flat canvas and provide your painting grid.
Lesson Five
Measure, Create a Grid and Execute Painting
How to create a grid from measurements of your stretcher bars, transfer grid to canvas & execute painting (the art)
Lesson Six
Stretch The Painting
Stretch the painting on stretcher bars with different site lines to change viewers perception as they pass by. Create a canvas with different site lines that can visually change a viewers perception two or three times as they pass by.
